Applications for 2007 Scholarships will be available in the Career Center and online in April. Details on completing the applications will be provided at that time.

How many scholarships will be awarded?

In 2006, the Foundation awarded 34 scholarships from $1000-$3000, for a total of $54,000. The number each year will depend on the amount of money the Foundation raises and the need within the student community.

Are the Scholarships for a specific…..

No, the scholarships are for varying amounts and will range from a low of $1000 to as high as $3000 for each grant.

Who reviews the applications?

The Foundation's Scholarship Selection Committee, which includes members of the Board and School Counselors, will review the applications and select the recipients.

Are there any other scholarships including non-need based available?

The Foundation offers two academic scholarships for IB students, one for diploma candidates and one for non-diploma candidates. In addition there are two scholarships which are awarded in memory of parent, Norene Thomas, which are selected on the basis of need and other specific criteria.
